Hedge Connection launched in 2005 as a marketing platform for hedge funds and an information portal for investors. To meet the ever growing demand of businesses and entrepreneurs seeking capital from our relationships, we began modifying our hedge fund related products and events to service more financial verticals. In 2020, we renamed our online platform to Fintroz to reflect this diversification and our revised mission to facilitate introductions to all sectors of the financial services industry.
Hedge Connection operates the Fintroz platform as an enterprise SaaS solution. Portions of the software, to the entire platform, can be licensed by firms looking for virtual conference and online capital introduction technology.
Over the years, Hedge Connection has hosted a multitude of live events featuring thought leadership and one-on-one networking. Through these events and our integrated technology, we have facilitated thousands of direct meetings and over a billion dollars in new investments.
On June 18, 2013, Hedge Connection was awarded United States Patent #8,468,078 for the business methodology of connecting hedge funds and investors online.
On June 30, 2015 Hedge Connection was awarded its second patent, United States Patent #9,070,165.

that may be searched by search engines. The databases and the search engines may be accessed using a
website. Information regarding the investor may be stored in one database and information relating to
the hedge fund may be separately stored in the other database. An investor may access the search engine
associated with the database containing hedge fund information to identify hedge funds that may be relevant
to that investor. Likewise, a hedge fund may access the search engine associated with the database containing
investor information to identify qualified investors that may be interested in the hedge fund.

Hedge Connection was founded on the premise of disintermediating the capital raising process through online technology and events. The founders believed that managers shouldn't have to pay astronomical fees for access to capital, and so they invented something different from the status quo. While the technology continues to evolve, our maxim of connecting hedge funds and investors in the most efficient and cost-effective manner endures.
